Message from Director

It is a great pleasure for me to introduce a unique Technical Institute (Polytechnic) named as "Asansol Institute of Engineering and Management- Polytechnic"(AIEM-P) which has started its function from the academic session 2015-16 under Eastern India Educational Trust. The trust was formed to bring together like minded people who place the greatest of importance on education for the nurturing and proper development of young minds.
It is a great pleasure for me to introduce a unique Technical Institute (Polytechnic) named as "Asansol Institute of Engineering and Management- Polytechnic"(AIEM-P) which has started its function from the academic session 2015-16 under Eastern India Educational Trust. The trust was formed to bring together like minded people who place the greatest of importance on education for the nurturing and proper development of young minds.
It has been noticed that in this region there is a huge demand for Diploma Engineering courses along with good quality technical institutions which provide these courses effectively and efficiently to meet the demand. AIEM-P is a polytechnic which offers three year-diploma engineering programme in:

• Mechanical Engineering (ME)
• Electrical Engineering (EE)
• Civil Engineering (CE)
• Mining Engineering (MIN)
• Computer Science & Technology (CST)

AIEM-P is affiliated to West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education & Skill Development (WBSCT&VE&SD) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Eastern India Educational Trust has taken the right step for the establishment of AIEM-P where attention is given to all round development of students while technical education is given prior attention but also due importance is giving for enhancing the human and ethical values, morals, cultured outlook, healthy habits, leadership, co-operative spirit in students. The campus is calm and peaceful and the atmosphere is congenial for serious studies. It has been already established that within a very short period of time AIEM-P has become one of the outstanding polytechnic in West Bengal. I strongly believe that AIEM-P will be a prime institute in eastern region of India.
