Eligibility Criteria


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR JEXPO 2023

a) Qualification
For admission to first year of Diploma Courses, the candidates must have passed Secondary examination (Madhyamik) of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or any other equivalent Examination from any recognizes board/council/institute.
Candidates appearing in the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in 2023 from any recognized Board/ Council/ Institute may also apply. However, submission of pass certificate/ mark sheet at the time of admission is a must, failing which candidature is liable to be cancelled even after merit listed in JEXPO-2023.

b) Age
No upper age limit, but candidate’s Date of Birth should not be after 01.07.2008.

c) Citizenship
Must be an Indian Citizen.



ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR VOCLET 2023

2ND YEAR ADMISSION
a) Qualification
Passed/Appeared* 10+2 examination / H.S. (Vocational) examination of WBSCT&VE&SD / equivalent examination with Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship. OR
Passed 10th + 2 years ITI (continuous) in annual system or semester system (Appearing ITI candidates are not eligible).
* Subject to submission of pass certificate / mark sheet at the time of admission.

b) Age :
No age limit.

c)Citizenship
Must be an Indian Citizen.

Instruction for Admission


Documents are required during admission (For JEXPO / DIRECT candidate):

  1. Two copies of this Final allotment Letter cum Money Receipt taken from the web portal.
  2. One copy of recent passport size photograph.
  3. Admit card of Madhyamik/ equivalent examination in original.
  4. Mark sheet of Madhyamik/ equivalent examination in original.
  5. JEXPO Admit Card.
  6. SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B Certificate in original (required if allotted through SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B quota only) issued by competent authority of the Government of west Bengal.
  7. Physically Challenged (PC) Certificate in Original (required if allotted through PC quota only) issued by competent authority
  8. Certificate in original with respect to Land Loser Issued by competent authority of Government of West Bengal (required if allotted through LLQ quota only)
  9. Certificate in original with respect to Tuition Fee Waiver(TFW) Issued by competent authority (required if allotted through TFW quota only)
  10. Certificate in original with respect to Wards of Ex- Service man died in action Issued by competent authority (required if allotted through ExS quota only).
  11. A Medical Fitness Certificate obtained from a Registered Medical Practitioner/ Medical Officer. The Certificate must possess stamp and registration number of the Registered medical Practitioner/ Medical Officer.
  12. Filled-in Anti Ragging Affidavit in the format.
  13. Rs. 500/- in CASH towards Final Seat Booking Fee.
  14. A set of Xeroxed copies of all documents.
  15. Admission Fees, as applicable to Government & Government Sponsored/Private Institution.

  4. Mark sheet of (10+2) vocational stream course issued by West Bengal State Council of Vocational education & Training or 2 Years ITI Examination in original.
  5. VOCLET admit card.
  6. SC/ST Certificate in original (required if allotted through SC/ST quota only) issued by competent authority of the Government of west Bengal.
  7. Physically Challenged (PC) Certificate in Original (required if allotted through PC quota only) issued by competent authority.
